CRM stand for Customer Relationship Management and today it is one of the most widely discussed topics in business. In recent year CRM software has gained lot of importance and business all over the world use this to manage their customers and leads.  According Gartner, CRM software will on the priority list of many companies as they are ready to spend more on CRM software as a part of their spending on enterprise applications. 
 
The second-spot was taken by Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and the third-spot was taken by office suites as per Gartner research. Many organizations are interested in spending additional on CRM software as they are focusing more on customer retention/satisfaction along with attracting new customers. The research firm also said that rise in mobile and social technologies are also driving the demand for this software. One of the industry’s biggest independent CRM vendor salesforce.com has changed its marketing approach projecting CRM software in such a way that it helps companies to develop a more meaningful ongoing relationship with their customers rather a lead tracking, sales leads and marketing campaign software. ERP is popular with companies in Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific region where manufacturing key for economy. Also the increased numbers of new users have led to the rise in demand for ERP software. Moreover the Gartner said growth is seen mainly in the emerging market rather than matured markets like Europe and US where the IT spending budget is low during 2014.
 
Many companies Gartner surveyed in North America said they increase their spending in SAAS in next couple of year. Gartner surveyed 1,523 people form different organizations across 13 countries including, China, India, Germany, Australia, U.S, U.K, Singapore, Russia etc.
