  • Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, Twitter, Zendesk get hacked
altHackers are having a field day the recent announcement by Microsoft that its website has been compromised for security stand testimony to threat to the database of the users. The matter of concern is that it is not that some small time websites that are getting hacked, we are talking about global giants like Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter and New York Times etc. The recent trend shows hacker activities have increased and the security implementation to counter it has been weaker. Though Microsoft says there has been no compromise on the database of the users but the security breach against this Redmond based software giant is itself a sort of achievement for the hackers.

Microsoft thinks the attack is form Chinese hackers though they don’t have proof for it but the recent development points to that direction. Apple was also hacked recently and earlier this month twitter made and announcement that more than 250,000 user accounts could have been compromised by the hackers. Even Zendesk, a customer support service company was not spared, the company’s web security was breached by hacker recently and information from three of its clients had been downloaded. It seems no website is immune to the onslaught of these hackers.
